Medical Laboratory Professional

We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Professional to join our team of technicians and scientists at NSW Health Pathology.

This is a temporary part-time opportunity in Shoalhaven Pathology with a highly supportive team. We require applicants with experience in Clinical Biochemistry, Haematology, Transfusion Science, and leadership skills. Knowledge in these areas would be highly valued in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver operational laboratory activities including coordination and provision of scientific and technical training.
  • Review, develop, and quality manage laboratory practices to ensure compliance with operational standards and procedures, quality standards, and continual process improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree or higher degree in Science/Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent qualification from a recognised tertiary institution.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the delivery of pathology services relevant to the laboratory.
  • Customer-focused approach displaying well-developed interpersonal skills and good oral and written communication skills.
