About the Role

Ausenco is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Brisbane office. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the delivery of multi-disciplinary engineering designs and feasibility studies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing technical reports related to specific design issues.
  • Delivering best practice technical solutions in accordance with project scope, timeframes, and standards.
  • Preparing equipment procurement packages, designs, calculations, and cost estimates for conventional engineering, research, and development assignments.
  • Familiar with standard discipline deliverables and work process on projects.
  • Demonstrating initiative and basic leadership skills to give direction within a small work group.
  • Developing networks and relationships within teams, across the organisation, and with clients.
  • Assisting with the preparation of proposals and tenders (such as estimating design hours).
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A degree qualification in Electrical Engineering.
  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Previous experience working in engineering consulting, EPC/EPCM in the mining and resources sectors.
  • Design experience using ETAP, SKM Power Tools, or Hexagon Smartplant.
  • A sound understanding of current codes and standards, including Australian and IEC/IEEE.
  • RPEQ or willingness to work towards accreditation.
  • Willingness to travel is highly desirable.
