About the Role

Our mission is to deliver premium active and off-duty styles to customers in a unique, innovative, and personal way.

  • This role reports to the Head of Design and is responsible for designing and developing apparel products.
  • You will collaborate with designers across adjacent categories, as well as with the Head of Design, Product Developers, and Buying team.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Creating and executing design concepts with a focus on colour and graphic direction.
  • Trend forecasting and concept development, interpreting trends and translating them into commercial product deliveries.
  • Ahead of season sourcing – fabric and trims.
  • Range building and sketching, presenting CADs and storyboards for design sign off.
  • Creating thorough, detailed Tech Packs and inputting to PLM system.
  • Working with a garment technician to perfect fits.
  • Liaising with offshore suppliers.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have:
  • Three or more years of experience in a similar role.
  • The ability to thrive in a busy and fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience across product development within the retail industry.
  • A strong design eye and a passion for fashion and lifestyle trends.
  • An understanding of fashion and activewear fabrications, silhouettes, and construction techniques.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Must be organized with exceptional time management skills.
  • Collaborative and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with pre-production approval processes – lab dips, strike offs, prototyping, sample approvals.
  • A customer-focused approach, with a commercial mindset and the ability to coordinate product ranges that grow sales and position our brand as best-in-market.
  • A high level of proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.

  • This is a print-driven role – if you are someone who is passionate about creating prints and repeats, that would be highly advantageous.
