Our OSHC Program

School Plus is a Child Safe Organisation that provides high-quality Outside School Hours Care to primary-aged children across South-East Queensland.

The Role

You will work full-time as the Leader (OSHC Coordinator) in our Margate program. This position works split shifts during term time, before and after school, with non-contact time during school hours. The service also offers a vacation care program, providing consistent work throughout the year.

You will enjoy this program's homely feel, facilitating activities like board games, sports, or dance competitions. The program has created a sensory garden with a first nations touch, incorporating bush food and visual cues.

As the Leader of our program, you will be:

  • An experienced OSHC professional with leadership experience.

  • A mentor to your team, supporting them on their growth journey.
  • A great communicator who enjoys interacting with the broader community and building relationships.

Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Hold a Diploma in School Aged Education and Care, Diploma in Children Services, Bachelor of Education, or equivalent ACECQA-approved qualification.
  • A current HLTAID012 First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma, and CPR Certificate or be willing to obtain.
  • A current Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
