Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a well-organized and visually appealing stockroom.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Folding, straightening, and arranging clothing on stacked pallets to maintain attractive merchandise presentation
  • Hanging and straightening clothing on racks, straightening shoes, underwear, and other clothing items
  • Following merchandising standards and practices
  • Aligning merchandise and grouping items by color or size, keeping stacks level, and collecting and returning stray items
  • Checking for correct merchandise signs
  • Assisting in folding and restocking saleable clothing brought by supervisors from the refund area to sales floor
  • Spotting for Forklift Drivers to keep people out of fall-danger zone
  • Clearing sales floor of debris
  • Removing empty pallets from the sales floor and operating cardboard baler and trash compactor
  • Communicating with Night Supervisor or Duty Manager to report progress and receive direction
  • Following established inventory prop guidelines prior to physical inventory
  • Following proper Merchandising and general safety procedures and standards
  • Assisting in other departments of the warehouse as necessary
  • Providing prompt and courteous customer service to members, employees, and suppliers
  • Assisting members in locating sizes
  • DIRECTING MEMBERS TO OTHER MERCHANDISE AND RELATING MERCHANDISE

Requirements:

  • Education/Training: High School Certificate or higher
  • Licenses/Certifications: None
  • Experience/Skills: Customer service, or comparable experience, basic math skills
