Product Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced product specialist to join our growing biosurgery team in Melbourne.

This role is responsible for J&J's surgical adjunctive haemostat product portfolio, which can be sold to a wide range of specialties including bariatrics, colorectal, obstetrics and gynaecology, general surgery, orthopaedics, cardiovascular, ENT and neurosurgery.

About the Role

This is a field-based role, requiring engagement with key opinion leaders and hospital decision makers, as well as coordination of product demonstrations and provision of accurate information regarding all products and their indications.

You will also provide in-theatre technical support and in-service training, ensuring maximum benefit and application of J&J's suite of biosurgery products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with key opinion leaders and hospital decision makers to promote J&J's biosurgery products.
  • Coordinate product demonstrations and provide accurate information regarding all products and their indications.
  • Provide in-theatre technical support and in-service training to ensure maximum benefit and application of J&J's biosurgery products.

Requirements
  • Degree qualified with minimum 2-3 years sales experience within medical devices or pharma.
  • Strong collaborative nature to work as a team, self-starter with the ability to function independently as a field-based representative.
  • Solutions-focused with the ability to engage and build strong relationships with various stakeholders, and a genuine desire to understand and support customers.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
