About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join our team in North Sydney. As a key member of our Construction team, you will be responsible for the tendering and cost planning of internal and external projects across multiple states and market sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assume a lead estimating role within bid teams to secure external tenders across multiple market sectors.
  • Work closely with the Construction teams to cost plan a diverse range of internal and external projects from concept to tender phase.
  • Engage and manage relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
  • Manage external quantity surveyors and other external bid support personnel to facilitate bid deliverables.
  • Contribute to work win BD efforts and secure new work opportunities.
  • Support live projects with cost planning services as required.
  • Drive value management outcomes across projects.
  • Support innovation initiatives within the business.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of previous demonstrable experience and success in both cost planning and tendering construction projects across multiple market sectors.
  • Experience and a sound understanding of typical Australian construction delivery and construction models and contracts.
  • Diploma/Degree in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying or related field.
