Transportation Director

We are seeking an experienced Transport Manager to join our state leadership team. As the Transport Manager, you will be responsible for managing our last mile delivery, sortation centres, and transport requests in your state. You will lead a team of up to 10 and be responsible for safety standards, chain of responsibility, and RSA compliance for our fulfilment and delivery operations in your state.

• Lead and grow the relationship across our driver fleet third-party logistics partners to enable effective execution of all business partner deliveries.
• Understand performance against the daily and weekly scorecard and drive action to improve or update on operational performance.
• Be proactive and own investigations and develop partner action plans to improve DIFOT.
• Be the go-to person for all day-to-day operations, sortation, warehouse, and service providers.
• Manage the delivery and financial targets for the transport and warehouse operations.
• Understand volume forecast projections and ensure business partners and teams are aligned and planned to execute our customer commitments.
• Lead and influence a safety culture for our contractors and customers.
• Be responsible for safety standards, chain of responsibility (CoR), and responsible service of alcohol (RSA) compliance for Endeavour's Fulfilment and Delivery Operations, including partners and contractors.
• Maintain the business in safety, compliance, and ethical resourcing for the last mile fleets.
• Manage safety meetings, support audits, and improve safety and compliance standards across Endeavour's Last Mile operations.
• Support supply chain strategic initiatives by providing insight and recommendations based on compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with the Partnership and Network Planning Lead to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

• 5+ years of leadership experience in fulfilment, logistics, or supply chain management, with a strong track record of driving operational excellence.
• Strong understanding of compliance and workplace safety requirements; knowledge of RSA compliance for alcohol delivery would be advantageous.
• Proficient with delivery driver lifecycle management.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships across the organisation.
• Demonstrated ability to operate at senior executive level, including presenting and running meetings/workshops.
• Demonstrated financial acumen, with experience managing P&L responsibilities.
• Demonstrated experience in managing a diverse operational team.
