We are seeking an experienced Dental Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cosmetic dentistry and a proven track record of producing high-quality, aesthetically pleasing results.

Responsibilities
  • Design and plan the fabrication of various dental restorations such as veneers, crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays, and implant-supported restorations.
  • Select appropriate materials for each restoration, considering factors such as aesthetics, durability, patient preferences, and the dentist's treatment plan.
  • Fabricate accurate and high-quality cosmetic restorations according to prescribed specifications using dental laboratory equipment and tools.
  • Perform meticulous shade matching procedures to ensure the prosthetics seamlessly blend with the patient's natural teeth and surrounding structures.
  • Conduct thorough quality control checks throughout the fabrication process to ensure the accuracy, fit, and functionality of the final restorations.
  • Collaborate closely with cosmetic dentists, prosthodontists, and dental assistants to discuss treatment plans, obtain feedback, and ensure effective communication throughout the restoration process.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in cosmetic dentistry techniques, materials, and equipment through professional development opportunities, workshops, and industry literature.
  • Maintain accurate records of all procedures performed, including detailed case documentation, materials used, and any adjustments made to ensure traceability and future reference.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-equipped dental laboratory, ensuring that all equipment and instruments are properly maintained and calibrated.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrate expertise in cosmetic dental restorations, with a proven track record of producing high-quality, aesthetically pleasing results.
  • Proficient in various dental laboratory techniques, including waxing, casting, alloying, layering, and CAD/CAM systems.
  • Display meticulous attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics to achieve precise shade matching, contouring, and texture replication.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with the dental team, understand patient needs, and provide feedback.
  • Able to prioritize tasks, work efficiently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Uphold professional ethics, patient confidentiality, and maintain compliance with all relevant privacy regulations.
  • Will to stay updated with advancements in cosmetic dentistry techniques, materials, and technology through professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, displaying a positive attitude, professionalism, and a willingness to contribute to a harmonious work environment.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday.

The ability to commute or relocate to Buderim, QLD 4556 is required.

Australia work authorization is preferred.
