Job Overview

We are seeking a visionary Design Project Lead to spearhead our design initiatives, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external design consultants.

This is an exceptional opportunity to utilize your expertise in leading the design phase of complex projects, ensuring seamless execution while meeting quality, cost, safety, and time frame requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective design strategies from concept to completion, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Manage and mentor external design consultants, evaluating their deliverables, costs, and timelines, to ensure optimal performance and value addition.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory design safety, quality, and operability reviews, guaranteeing the highest standards of workmanship.
  • Define clear deliverables and integration of multidiscipline design inputs, promoting efficient project workflows and streamlined communication channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, facilitating cross-functional collaboration and driving business growth.
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in design or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience as a senior design consultant/manager in the commercial or industrial construction sector.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex design concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Proactive approach, high attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality results.
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
