Nurse in Remote Communities

This role presents a unique chance to provide dialysis treatment in remote Northern Territory communities as part of the NT Remote Locum Program. You will work closely with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, General Practitioners, nurses, and support staff to deliver culturally safe and high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:\- Delivering dialysis treatment to patients in remote clinics
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care
- Working in close collaboration with Aboriginal Health Practitioners to ensure culturally sensitive care
- Qualifications in haemodialysis nursing and minimum 2 years of experience
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Valid National Criminal History Check (less than 6 months old)
- Unrestricted driver's license for driving in the NT
- Up-to-date immunisation status, including COVID-19, Hepatitis A & B, MMR, Varicella, BCG, Influenza, and Pertussis
- Fully paid locum placements in remote NT communities, including travel and accommodation costs
- Cultural orientation and 24/7 support for transitioning into remote healthcare
