Role Summary

The primary objective of this role is to deliver accurate and timely credit risk insights and reporting across the Consumer Banking, Business Banking, and Institutional Banking portfolios.

To continually enhance analysis and reporting standards, processes, controls, and capabilities.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Provide actionable insights and reports for the Consumer, Business, and Institutional Bank to inform commercial decisions
  • Monitor bad debt provisioning and regulatory capital actuals and forecasts
  • Collaborate with the Data Integration team to design and build dashboards/reports/papers
  • Ensure credit risk reporting aligns with divisional key risks and risk appetite statements
  • Accountable for appropriate financials for the Bank's statutory statements
  • Develop analysis and reporting standards and ensure adherence (ie. AASB 9)
  • Deliver credit risk analysis and reporting to meet the needs of relevant stakeholders (Senior Management, the Board, Market and Regulatory Pillar, Credit related APRA returns)
  • Implement quality control processes and improvements
Skill Requirements
  • Strong credit risk background, with 5+ years in performing hands-on risk analytics and optimization
  • Reasonable exposure to Consumer Credit portfolio is highly desirable
  • Tertiary qualifications in Statistics, Finance, Engineering or related fields
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and delivery-focused stakeholder servicing environment
  • Experience in regulatory reporting, change management, or projects is advantageous
  • Proficient in SAS programming, SQL, and Tableau
