Enterprise Data Modelling Lead

This is a senior leadership position within a government analytics division, focused on enterprise data modelling, platform enhancement, and the delivery of high-value insights.

  • Main Responsibilities:
    • Architect and continuously improve the EDW platform capabilities
    • Develop complex enterprise data models, transformations, and integration pipelines
    • Support metadata management, data matching algorithms, and data quality initiatives
    • Collaborate with BI Analysts and develop secure APIs for reporting
    • Provide leadership and mentoring within the data team
    • Resolve incidents, manage deployments, and monitor critical application functions
  • Requirements:
    • Strong expertise in SAP HANA 2.0 modelling (calculation views, CDS, procedures, table functions)
    • SQL expertise with relational databases, query optimisation, and data integrity
    • Experience with SDI, SDQ, SAP SAC and Microsoft Power BI
    • Strong understanding of conceptual, logical, and dimensional data modelling
    • Experience with end-to-end data pipelines in on-premise or cloud environments
    • Skills in data governance, security, and sensitive data handling
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
