Job Role:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced technology Sourcing and Commercial Consultant to assist our clients in making informed decisions as they plan, execute, and transition to new or re-invigorated supplier arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing strategic sourcing plans and managing risk
- Designing end-to-end technology sourcing programs
- Developing commercial strategies and coordinating procurement
- Preparing and reviewing commercial documents, particularly as they relate to service definitions and performance frameworks
- Collaborating with legal teams to ensure commercial and legal objectives are aligned
- Evaluating technical, financial, and commercial streams, including preparation of evaluation reports
- Negotiation planning and execution
- Contract finalisation and preparation of executive papers for endorsement
- Navigating regulatory processes
Requirements:
- At least 3 years + experience working in a consulting environment focusing on technology procurement, commercial management, and end-to-end sourcing and/or experience working for suppliers within commercial roles for Senior Consultant level
- At least 8 years + experience working in a consulting environment focusing on technology procurement, commercial management, and end-to-end sourcing and/or experience working for suppliers within commercial roles for Senior Manager level
- A deep understanding of technologies and market trends
- Undergraduate degree, preferably within the following disciplines: Business Management / Commerce, Information Technology, Computer Science / Engineering, Finance, or Law
- Must hold Australian Citizenship and be able to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance
