Job Description

Job Title: Aviation Maintenance Team Lead - UH-60 Helicopter

Job Summary:

Amentum is seeking an experienced Aviation Maintenance Team Lead to join our team in Colombia. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of aviation maintenance personnel in the maintenance and repair of UH-60 helicopters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of aviation maintenance personnel in the maintenance and repair of UH-60 helicopters
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with Colombian Aeronautica Civil, U.S. FAA, and U.S. military maintenance regulations
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal aircraft availability
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of maintenance activities
  • Provide training and guidance to maintenance personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are documented and recorded in accordance with company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Technical degree in aviation maintenance from an accredited civilian or military institution
  • Minimum of 10 years' hands-on experience in aviation maintenance, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in UH-60 helicopter maintenance
  • Aviation Maintenance supervision of personnel experience is required
  • Experience on SAP processes is preferred
  • Must have a current TMA (TLH or TLA) Colombian license, or equivalent U.S. Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
  • English language ability at the Foreign Service Institute Level R/1, or the equivalent; Spanish language ability equivalent to the Foreign Service Institute Level R/3, S/3 is required
  • Knowledge of Colombian Aeronautica Civil, U.S. FAA, and U.S. military maintenance regulations is required
  • Knowledge of Colombian safety standards and procedures is required
