The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance work is carried out in a timely and efficient manner, while also maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of tradespeople to achieve work outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW).
- Oversee the execution of work schedules for the team, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Streamline processes within the maintenance team, focusing on improving customer service and reducing downtime.
- Ensure that all team members comply with regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Manage work orders and budgets through SAP, ensuring that all costs are accurately recorded and reported.
- Step into the role of Maintenance Supervisor or Senior Maintenance Officer in times of absence, providing cover for the team.
- Promote a positive image when dealing with internal and external customers, ensuring that Amentum's reputation is maintained at all times.
- Undertake operational tasks consistent with supporting the mission, including maintenance and repair of facilities.
- Demonstrate a positive approach toward Equal Employment Opportunity and Equity principles, ensuring that all team members are treated fairly and with respect.
- Show awareness of Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) policies, ensuring that all team members are aware of and comply with these policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Essential: Trade qualifications background (e.g. Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry).
- Desirable: Experience in SAP and knowledge of Facilities maintenance and operations.
- Exceptional customer service, communication skills, and time management.
- Ability to lead by example and work with diverse customers and team members.
- Previous administrative experience with a focus on customer service.
- Valid driver's license and relevant licenses (e.g. Working at Heights, Heavy Ridged, Skid Steer).
- At least 3 years experience planning and overseeing work schedules for a team.
