The Queensland Government is embarking on a journey to deliver exceptional results for Queensland athletes through the 2032 Brisbane Games and beyond.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement high-performance strength and conditioning programs for nationally categorised QAS Rugby Sevens Academy athletes, aligned with each athlete's Individual Athlete Performance Plan (IAPP) and What It Takes to Win (WITTW) framework.
  • Deliver performance testing and tracking/monitoring for QAS categorised athletes, providing timely feedback to coaches, athletes, and the Performance Support team.
  • Contribute to IAPP development and review associated specific development priorities and performance metrics to measure progress.
Requirements
  • Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary performance support team to create a high-performance environment.
  • Attend weekly Performance Support team meetings and engage in the daily training environment.
