Job Description:

As a Health and Wellbeing Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging social events on site. Your role will also involve conducting group fitness activities and classes for residents, implementing and coordinating company-wide health initiatives, and monitoring and maintaining sporting, leisure, and recreational activities and facilities on site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging social events on site
  • Conduct group fitness activities and classes for residents
  • Implement and coordinate company-wide health initiatives
  • Monitor and maintain sporting, leisure, and recreational activities and facilities on site
  • Conduct health assessments and gym inductions for residents
  • Provide educational seminars as required
  • Ensure communication and reporting processes are followed
Requirements:
  • Certificate IV in Fitness, Diploma of Sport and Recreation, or a health-related degree is essential
  • Minimum 12 months experience in a similar environment
  • Current first aid and CPR certificates are mandatory
  • Australian manual driver's license
  • Events and community engagement experience is highly desirable
  • Yoga, Pilates, or Breath Work qualifications/certificates are highly desirable
  • Passion for physical and mental health and fitness
  • Experience conducting group fitness activities and classes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with technical aspects of gym and recreation facilities
  • High engagement focus with clients and village residents
  • Experience in event coordination
  • Background in health promotion
