Reinforcing Bar Operator

We are seeking an experienced Reinforcing Bar Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for shaping and cutting reinforcing bars and mesh using manual benders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate manual benders to shape and cut reinforcing bars and mesh.
  • Transport materials efficiently using a forklift.
  • Pick and pack orders accurately to meet customer demands.
  • Load and unload trucks for customers or drivers.
  • Contribute to a safe workplace environment by promoting a culture of safety.

Success in this role requires valuing teamwork, having a safety-focused mindset, attention to detail, and good time management skills to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

  • A willingness to learn new skills and a positive attitude towards challenges.
  • A safety-conscious mindset and commitment to a safe working environment.
  • Team-oriented approach and ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Experience in steel, manufacturing, or construction industries is highly valued.
  • A valid forklift license and prior experience operating a forklift are essential.
  • Overhead crane experience is also desirable.
