Funding and Liquidity Manager

The role of the Associate in Funding and Liquidity Management involves providing strategic support for effective funding within the region. The successful candidate will deliver efficient liquidity, funding, and cash management while preparing comprehensive liquidity reporting and management information packs.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with local statutory regulations to maintain a comprehensive Treasury risk management framework across the region (Australia and Asia Pacific).
- Optimize cash/nostro accounts effectively, maximizing utilization of funds.
- Support the Head of Funding and Liquidity Australia to raise funding through wholesale markets while maintaining required regulatory liquidity levels.
- Implement cost-effective Treasury products that meet local requirements and risk parameters.
- Background in commercial banking or investment banking with knowledge of cash and liquidity management, position keeping, and settlement procedures, minimum 2 years' experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of local regulatory rules and regulations as well as relevant KYC/AML requirements related to Treasury.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills with proficiency in VBA programming.
- Knowledge of various investment products such as bonds, equities, foreign exchange, money markets, interest rate swaps, etc.
