Electrical Designer Position

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Designer to contribute to our team's engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed design drawings for industrial engineering projects.
  • Translate conceptual designs into detailed engineering drawings, including general layouts, process flow diagrams, schematics, terminations, and single line drawings.
  • Update plant designs before project commencement and/or at project completion.
  • Maintain site presence to conduct field inspections of electrical installations for translating to drafted representations.
  • Closely collaborate with senior designers, engineers, and project managers on key milestones and deliverables.

The successful candidate will ensure that designs align with client requirements as well as industry and Australian standards. They will also implement designs safely and manage risks effectively.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in CAD design on industrial projects or sites.
  • CAD Design experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
  • An associate diploma in Electrical Drafting or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in industrial electrical, instrument, control systems, and communications.
  • Exceptional attention to detail is required.
