Plant Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary:
A skilled mechanic is required to maintain and repair plant and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Servicing, maintenance and repairs of Council's plant and equipment in accordance with manufacturer's specifications.
- Registration inspections on Council's heavy and light vehicle fleet and plant.
- Estimates and quotations as required.
- Fleet management software management.
- Light steel fabrication and repairs.
Maintenance and cleaning workshop equipment are essential tasks. Ensuring safe work practices and delivering high-quality customer service are paramount.
Essential Requirements:- Automotive Trade Certificate (Heavy or Light Vehicle Mechanic) or related discipline with contemporary experience.
- Contemporary knowledge and experience in servicing, repairing and maintaining plant, equipment and heavy vehicles.
- Electronic fuel injection and electronic diagnosis of engines knowledge.
- Productive team member with ability to contribute to team goals.
- WHS General Construction Induction (White) card.
