About the Role

The Test Analyst will be responsible for designing, building, testing and deploying effective test automation solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting quality engineering outcomes of concurrent projects within a business unit with a common test process approach
  • Optimising capability usage, implementing common metrics and improving speed to value

You will work closely with software engineers during all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), highlighting potential risks, offering input and contributing to code as required.

About You and Your Skills

To succeed in this role, you will need to have at least 5 years experience in the automation, development and testing fields, including digital products in an agile environment.

  • Demonstrated experience delivering automated testing, including implementing Automated Testing solutions
  • Demonstrated experience with various licenced and open-source automation tools, frameworks and scripting languages (Selenium, SpecFlow, Appium, Cucumber)
  • Demonstrated experience with API testing tools that require strong coding skills to create tests (REST Assured, RestSharp, jMeter)
  • Confident working with diverse technology stacks
  • Experience with Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) test automation frameworks
  • Demonstrated experience with testing aspects of DevOps, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for continuous testing purposes using tools (Bamboo, Jenkins, AzureDevOps)

You will also need excellent communication, analytical and problem resolution skills.
