We are seeking a skilled and passionate culinary professional to join our team as a Grill and Pans Chef. The ideal candidate will have a primary focus on à la carte service, working across the grill and pans section, and delivering perfectly cooked steaks and pasta to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Run the grill and pans section during dinner service, producing high-quality plated dishes with consistency and flair.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of steak cuts, doneness levels, and presentation techniques.
  • Prepare and maintain mise en place for smooth, efficient à la carte service.
  • Assist in banquets and breakfast operations when needed—helping across buffet, prep, and live stations.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP compliance.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2–3 years' experience in a hotel or high-end à la carte restaurant.
  • Proven skills on the grill and pans, with excellent knowledge of steak preparation.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, high-volume service environments.
  • Versatile, proactive, and willing to support across multiple kitchen outlets (banquets, breakfast).
  • Positive team player with a growth mindset.
