Key Responsibilities- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to patients with complex trauma, orthopaedics, and neurological conditions.
- Work collaboratively with the occupational therapy team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of occupational therapy services and programs.
- Provide supervision and mentoring to junior occupational therapy staff, Allied Health Assistants, and undergraduate students.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice.
- Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) or equivalent.
- Registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
- Member of OT Australia (or eligibility for membership).
- Minimum three years of clinical experience in occupational therapy.
- Clinical experience and knowledge of client-centred, occupational service delivery in an acute or rehab setting.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate and modify service delivery in accordance with evidence-based practice.
- Experience working within an interdisciplinary team with strong interpersonal skills.
- A strong commitment to ongoing learning and development.
- Flexibility and adaptability in both clinical service provision and interactions with the team.
