Electrophysiology Specialist
The position involves working in the EP lab, cath lab and assisting with management of Cardiac Implanted Electronic Devices. The role requires participation in an after hours on-call roster on a rotational basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform monitoring and stimulation during Electrophysiology procedures
- Manage all aspects of Cardiac Implanted Electronic Device (CIED) management including implants, follow up and remote monitoring
- Assist with training and supervision of trainees
About the Role:
The Cardiology team provides cardiology services and supports in the EP lab, cath lab and CIED management for patients from various clinics. Current mapping systems include Carto, EnsiteX, Affera and Opal.
What You Will Do:
- Conduct Electrophysiology procedures and manage patient data
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with cardiac implanted electronic devices
- Train and supervise junior staff members
