Senior Verification and Validation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Verification and Validation Engineer to join our team at Brooks Automation, Inc. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive verification and validation strategies for our laboratory automation equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Verification and Validation Strategy Development: Design and implement verification and validation strategies that align with ISO 13485 standards, ensuring the highest level of quality and reliability in our products.
- Test Protocol Creation: Develop detailed test protocols based on product requirements and regulatory standards, ensuring that all necessary performance criteria and safety features are adequately covered.
- Testing and Analysis: Conduct thorough testing of prototype products using the developed protocols, analyzing test data to determine whether the system meets the defined specifications and performance metrics.
- Issue Identification and Resolution: Identify, document, and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the verification and validation processes, proposing engineering solutions to address and resolve these issues.
- Documentation and Compliance: Maintain thorough documentation for all verification and validation activities, ensuring that all documentation complies with ISO 13485 standards and can support regulatory submissions and audits.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other engineering teams to integrate and align the verification and validation activities with overall project objectives, providing feedback and recommendations for improving verification and validation strategies and processes.
- Relevant Qualifications: Relevant tertiary Engineering qualifications in a related discipline.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in the design and execution of test campaigns for new products.
- Skills: Proven ability to meet pre-determined timeframes, adaptable problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, and excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Desirable Qualifications: Experience delivering products within an ISO 13485 Quality System.
