We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Verification and Validation Engineer to join our team at Brooks Automation, Inc. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive verification and validation strategies for our laboratory automation equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute verification and validation plans to ensure compliance with ISO 13485 standards.
- Create detailed test protocols and procedures to validate product performance, usability, and reliability.
- Conduct thorough testing of prototype products, including hardware and software components, to verify and validate product specifications and performance metrics.
- Analyze test data to identify any issues or defects and propose engineering solutions to address and resolve these issues.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all verification and validation activities, ensuring compliance with ISO 13485 standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality assurance, to integrate and align verification and validation activities with overall project objectives.
- Participate in risk assessment activities to identify potential risks associated with equipment and validate the effectiveness of risk control measures.
- Provide feedback and recommendations for improving verification and validation strategies and processes to enhance efficiency, compliance, and product quality.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related engineering discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in designing and executing test campaigns for new products.
- Proven ability to meet pre-determined timeframes and deliver results.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrable ability to work autonomously and consistently deliver results.
- Experience delivering products within an ISO 13485 Quality System is desirable.
