Structural Engineer - Remedial Specialist

At Ensure Recruitment, we are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team as a Remedial Specialist.

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong background in building construction and remediation to work with our clients and provide expert advice on construction and repair methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct thorough inspections and evaluations of buildings to identify structural issues, material failures, and other defects requiring remediation.
  2. Develop detailed remediation plans and designs, including specifying materials and methods to address identified issues, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  3. Oversee and coordinate remediation projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and liaising with contractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
  4. Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure that remediation work meets specified standards and addresses the underlying issues effectively.
  5. Provide clear and comprehensive reports to clients, detailing assessment findings, proposed remediation strategies, progress updates, and final project outcomes, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a trade related field.
  2. Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in consulting role, construction, or a related field.
  3. In-depth knowledge of building construction practices, materials, and codes.
  4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to prepare accurate and detailed reports.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and clients.
  6. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
