Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled water and wastewater process engineer to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for undertaking process reviews, investigations, and designs of wastewater and/or water treatment plants.

Our ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge and expertise in water/wastewater industry standards and best practices. They will also have experience in an operational water or wastewater treatment environment, either from a role in operations or through significant time onsite for consultancy or contractor project work.

Responsibilities include:

  • Undertake process reviews, investigations, and designs of wastewater and/or water treatment plants;
  • Develop and maintain trusted long-term relationships with clients;
  • Collaborate with multidiscipline teams to secure, manage, and deliver projects;
  • Remain at the forefront of technological developments, research, and industry best practice.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Chartered Professional Engineer (or working towards being chartered) with a Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or closely related engineering discipline;
  • Strong understanding of water/wastewater industry standards and best practices;
  • Experience undertaking and leading investigations, options assessments, and design of municipal treatment plants;
  • Experience in an operational water or wastewater treatment environment, either from a role in operations or through significant time onsite for consultancy or contractor project work.
