About the Role

  • Assist with dismantling and assembling cylinders and hydraulic components, ensuring precision and accuracy.
  • Operate heavy machinery, including overhead cranes and special purpose equipment, safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized working environment, adhering to high standards of quality and safety.
  • Prepare cylinders for painting, using environmentally friendly practices.
  • Apply paint finishes, meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
  • Pack jobs carefully and prepare them for transportation, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Load and unload jobs from trucks, exercising caution and attention to detail.
  • Document job-related activities accurately and thoroughly, maintaining records as required.
  • Collect and deliver items as needed, providing excellent support to the team.

About You

  • Previous experience in a similar trades assistant role, with a proven track record of success.
  • A solid understanding of manufacturing processes and concepts, with a passion for learning and growth.
  • The ability to follow instructions, work collaboratively as part of a team, and maintain a positive attitude in challenging situations.
  • A valid Forklift license and proficiency in operating hand tools, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Strong time management skills, reliability, and a 'can-do' approach, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • A valid Australian driver's license and a commitment to prioritizing safety above all else.
