Research Assistant Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant in a full-time role to contribute to our onsite laboratory team.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in molecular biology techniques, including nucleic acid extractions, PCR, ELISA assays. If you have a strong foundation in next generation sequencing techniques and processes, we encourage you to apply.

  • Molecular biology techniques: We require experience in nucleic acid extractions, PCR, ELISA assays.
  • Next generation sequencing: Familiarity with the latest techniques and processes is essential.
  • Degree or equivalent laboratory experience: Undergraduate degree with Honours in a relevant field OR equivalent laboratory experience over a 3-year period.
  • Data entry and analysis: Demonstrated experience in meticulous data entry and analysis with strong attention to detail.
  • Quality processes, regulatory requirements, and ethical guidelines: Knowledge of these areas is necessary.
  • Microsoft Office skills: Intermediate to advanced level required.
  • Problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills: High-level skills essential.
