Linux System Engineer Manager

This fast-paced environment requires exceptional time management, deep knowledge of the Linux system, low-level debugging, critical thinking, problem-solving skills and leadership ability.
You will lead and manage a team to deliver OEM enablement projects. This involves recruiting, motivating, mentoring, and enabling your team members to succeed in delivering quality products.
Key responsibilities include setting goals with the team; prioritizing tasks, identifying and measuring team health indicators; maximizing the results of team members and supporting their career growth.
Collaboration is essential with project managers, HWE, QA, and certification management teams. You will also monitor projects from kickoff to post-mortem and handle escalations.
A key aspect of this role is communicating, understanding, and resolving technical challenges with OEMs, ODMs, SiPs, and IHVs.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in technical roles with Linux, preferably Ubuntu or Debian. Experience with development and testing methodologies, maintainable code quality, and management responsibilities are also essential.
A Bachelor (or higher) degree in STEM, preferably computer science or software engineering, is required. Strong English language communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for success in this role.
