Project Leadership Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to assume the role of Senior Project Manager and drive our project management team forward.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and direct high-performing teams to deliver projects that meet client expectations for cost, time, and quality.
  • Manage project resources, sub-consultants, programs, contracts, and scope changes to achieve positive project outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure all parties are informed about relevant matters.
  • Implement and manage financial and project controls to enable effective monitoring and forecasting of project finances.
  • Drive project performance, service delivery, technical coordination, and commercial outcomes.
  • Support business development by leading the compilation of tender documents and critically reviewing tender returns.
  • Provide sound leadership to the team, offer guidance and advice, and lead by example to achieve company goals.
  • Maintain an overview of the commercial aspects of the team's portfolio of projects and drive project performance, service delivery, and commercial outcomes.
  • Undertake project reviews to ensure client delivery exceeds expectations.
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks to avoid adverse impacts on projects.
Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience in managing projects in a consultancy environment, working with government and contractor clients, and handling various forms of contract.
  • A strong commercial background, including familiarity with contractual conditions and procedures, and the ability to take commercial responsibility for projects.
  • A recognized degree or equivalent qualification in a technical field such as Engineering or Project Management, construction management, or Architecture.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team.
  • Highly motivated and driven, with a passion for delivering to client needs.
  • Established relationships with existing clients in the civil infrastructure sector in Victoria, with desirable relationships in the water and energy sectors.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia is mandatory.
