Inventory Management Professional

The Inventory Management Professional plays a vital role in overseeing and optimizing all inventory management activities within the warehouse and distribution centre. This position ensures accurate stock control, efficient inventory flow, and alignment with supply chain and distribution requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and facilitate collaboration to support the day-to-day operational performance of the Central Pharmacy Distribution Centre.
  • Develop a working relationship with and have sound knowledge of all team activities within the Distribution Centre.
  • Direct, control, and coordinate all elements of Central Pharmacy operations to ensure key performance targets are met consistently.
  • Ensure full compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), Traffic Management, and Workplace Health and Safety legislation.
  • Provide oversight of inventory control within Central Pharmacy, directing and coordinating all elements of inventory management operations.
About You:
  • You must have knowledge of or be able to acquire knowledge of practices relevant to warehousing, inventory controls, and distribution functions.
  • Ability to operate motor vehicles and materials handling equipment is required.
  • You must be able to work as part of a team and adapt to changing work environments.
  • Effective communication and liaison skills are necessary for this role.
