Warehouse Operations Manager Position

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee the supervision of stock receipt and storage, planning and coordination of internal stock transfers, and development of long-term and short-term distribution strategies to maintain optimal efficiency.

This key role involves supervising a team in ensuring accurate inventory management, developing plans for meeting delivery schedules and dates, implementing improvements to warehouse practices, and effectively resolving problems and complaints. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this position.

  • Supervise the receipt, storage, and management of stock inventory
  • Develop and implement effective logistics and distribution strategies
  • Coordinate internal stock transfers and manage inventory levels
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes as needed
  • Monitor and control costs associated with transportation and inventory management
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to distributors and customers

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a warehouse environment, advanced customer service orientation, strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and demonstrated time management skills. A proven track record of successful inventory management and logistics planning is also essential.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a warehouse operations management role
  • Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, logistics, and supply chain management
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
