Equipment Operations Manager

The Equipment Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation of our fleet of light vehicles and earth-moving equipment. This includes managing maintenance schedules, conducting regular inspections, and implementing corrective actions as needed.

  • Develop and implement daily maintenance schedules to maximize equipment availability and minimize downtime
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with the Fleet and Equipment Manager to analyze fleet performance data and identify areas for improvement

This role requires a strong understanding of logistics and maintenance systems, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in fleet management and maintenance, with a proven track record of improving efficiency and reducing costs.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of logistics and maintenance systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets
  • Experience with JDE - E1 and P&E modules
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office suite
  • Highly regarded: tertiary qualification in engineering, maintenance, or logistics
