Heavy Cargo Truck Driver Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Heavy Cargo Truck Driver to join our operations team at an Adelaide-based resource recovery centre. As a key member, you will be responsible for collecting liquid waste from various sites and transporting it back to our facility for processing.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy cargo trucks with precision and attention to safety standards.
  • Maintain daily vehicle checks to ensure all necessary procedures are followed.
  • Conduct pre and post trip inspections to guarantee safe operation.
  • Complete required paperwork and records.
  • Maintain and repair tools and equipment as needed.
  • Ensure site cleanliness and housekeeping meet professional presentation standards and environmental regulations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience driving heavy cargo trucks or above.
  • A valid recent driver history report within the last three months.
  • 100% commitment to safe driving practices and adhering to company policies.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude is desirable.
  • Preferably experienced in the waste industry but not essential.
