About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Field Engineer to join our team at Bechtel Oil, Gas & Chemicals Incorporated. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for providing project field engineering specialization and expertise with work planning and packaging, material management, quantity verification and validation, safety and quality control, technical inspection and testing knowledge, and subcontract coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement construction plans and procedures to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure accurate material management and quantity verification.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure timely and effective project delivery.
- Develop and maintain accurate records of project activities and progress.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, construction management) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.
- Proven experience in oil and gas or LNG project construction as a field engineer.
- Knowledge of Australian Codes & Standards for Structural Steel Installation and Bechtel Standard Applications (BSAPs).
