Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Kalgoorlie WA.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Conduct internal audits to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure effective financial management
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to management to inform business decisions
- Manage and maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Develop and oversee the annual budgeting process to ensure financial sustainability
- Implement cost management strategies to optimize resource allocation and improve efficiency
- Assist with pricing strategies by conducting market analysis and evaluating service costs
- Develop financial forecasts to support strategic planning and decision-making
- Assist management in interpreting data and identifying trends to inform business decisions
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, ideally including both a Bachelor Degree and a Master Degree
- Minimum THREE years of experience, with Australian experience preferred
- Previous experience in the disability or aged care sector is highly regarded
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions to financial challenges
- Outstanding quality of work, attention to detail, and accuracy
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written), including the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer literacy
