Job Profile:

A Lineworker plays a vital role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and sustainability of power networks for customers. As a team member, you will be responsible for inspecting, installing, and maintaining overhead network infrastructure and electrical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections and maintenance of overhead network infrastructure and electrical equipment to ensure high standards of quality, cost, and time.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, resolve customer complaints, interpret technical documentation, and participate in emergency restoration work.
  • Prepare work sites, exercise caution when working near live electrical apparatus, and adhere to all relevant safety protocols.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Certification III in Electrical Supply Industry Power Systems (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in an electrical trade role within the electricity distribution or related industry, including line work
  • Class MR drivers license
  • Electrical Safety Rules accreditation and other relevant statutory training
  • Sound knowledge of relevant statutes, regulations, and procedures, such as safe working practices, network standards, and codes of practice
