Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Leading Hand to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a certified Electrician with leadership experience to combine their technical expertise with management responsibilities in a workshop environment.

This role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge equipment and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering high-quality service. As an Electrical Leading Hand, you will lead the team, service and maintain welding equipment and generators, and ensure they are performance-ready for our clients.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in generator and welding equipment repair and maintenance, excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to motivate and lead a team. They will also be committed to fostering a safe and compliant work environment.

In this hands-on role, you will:

  • Lead the team and supervise workshop staff
  • Assign tasks to team members and oversee workflow
  • Maintain accurate service and repair logs
  • Offer technical advice and solutions for clients' equipment maintenance and usage needs

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certified Electrician qualification with relevant trade certifications
  • Proven leadership experience supervising and managing a workshop team

  • Exceptional diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and lead a team
