As a Prison Store Operations Officer, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day operations of the prison stores functions including warehouse, procurement and administrative functions. You will ensure electronic and paper-based record keeping systems are up to date and accurate.
About The Role- Reporting to the Team Leader - Stores, you will provide high-quality business services related to stores for the prison.
- Working productively and respectfully as part of a dedicated and supportive team within a rotational roster framework featuring task responsibilities in accordance with the position responsibilities.
- Providing timely and effective maintenance of electronic and paper-based record keeping systems.
- Ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
- Experience in a range of stores related tasks including purchasing, procurement and stock control is highly regarded.
- Demonstrated understanding of occupational health and safety practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Warehousing certificates/qualifications are desirable.
- Forklift license is desirable.
- Operating elevating work platform – RIIHAN301E is desirable.

The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include reference checks, national police checks and misconduct screening.
