Agricultural Technician

Farm equipment maintenance and repair is a critical function on our family farms. We are seeking experienced agricultural technicians or farm mechanics to join our team.

We offer a competitive remuneration package, with estimated annual salaries ranging from $65,000 to $80,000 for agricultural technicians and $65,000 to $75,000 for farm mechanics, plus government-regulated superannuation at 11.5%.

Key responsibilities include:

• Undertaking repairs and maintenance of various farm vehicles and equipment
• Detecting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in engines, machinery, and parts
• Performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes and engine tune-ups, to ensure reliability and compliance with pollution regulations
• Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after repair for proper performance

Requirements include experience with diesel-powered agricultural equipment, ability to work in a workshop and on-site, and adaptability to different environments and tasks.
