About the role

This position involves working with a small team to deliver new bridge construction and maintenance projects across the region. You will bring a strong understanding of civil engineering principles, particularly around maintenance, to achieve delivery outcomes.

Main responsibilities:
  • Manage bridge project deliverables to ensure timely, cost-effective and scope-compliant project outcomes.
  • Lead investigation and design processes through effective project briefs, stakeholder engagement and scheduling.
  • Work collaboratively in a small team environment to meet all team objectives.
  • Implement high standards of quality and systems adherence to TfNSW procedures and protocols.

This is a fixed-term position based in South Grafton, NSW.

Required skills and qualifications
  • A four-year Civil Engineering degree from an Australian University or equivalent overseas qualifications.
  • Experience managing construction and maintenance projects, preferably with a focus on bridges.
  • Technical knowledge of materials, equipment and techniques used in a bridge and infrastructure environment.
