About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a laboring capacity across various waste management activities. The role involves general duties such as cleansing public amenities, maintaining and operating light vehicles, and ensuring safe use of chemicals and equipment.

The successful applicant will have strong experience carrying out manual tasks in a safety conscious manner, good communication skills, and the ability to be an effective team member within a customer focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleansing duties associated with Council's public amenities
  • Maintaining and safely operating Waste Collection and Amenities Cleaning light vehicles
  • Ensuring safe use of chemicals, cleansing equipment
