About us:

We are a trusted provider of support services to the Mineral Exploration and Mining industry across Western Australia.

We seek an experienced and passionate professional to join our team.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled individual with at least 2 years' experience in mineral exploration to assist with several exciting new projects in Western Australia.

You will play a key role in all aspects of RC, Aircore, and Diamond Drilling programs.

This is a great opportunity to contribute to dynamic and innovative projects across Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily drilling activities and oversee field exploration tasks such as geological mapping, soil/rock sampling, core logging, trench sampling, and geological modelling.
  • Supervise drill rigs as needed and ensure drilling programs are completed effectively.
  • Perform quality assurance and quality control analysis of laboratory results and proactively ensure optimal outcomes are achieved.
  • Support environmental monitoring, rehabilitation activities, and remote camp setup and management.
  • Assist with project management and contribute to expanding our project footprint.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to achieve exploration goals and maximize outcomes for both parties.
  • Other tasks as required to support the team and clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A tertiary qualification in Geology (Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field).
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in the mineral exploration sector, with field-based roles in remote locations.
  • Familiarity with mining software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or Micromine is desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent leadership and interpersonal abilities.
  • Effective project management, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to tasks.
  • A passion for exploration and working outdoors in remote settings.
  • Competence in 4WD driving, with a valid C class manual driver's license.
  • A strong commitment to Health, Safety, and Wellbeing, with a focus on fostering a positive safety culture.
