Job Description:

This role involves overseeing inventory operations, including receiving, storing, maintaining, and distributing supplies across the region. You will coordinate physical distribution systems and work closely with procurement teams and a diverse client base.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the quality and standard of incoming stock is acceptable by inspection prior to acceptance.
  • Liaise with vendors regarding incorrect deliveries and back orders.
  • Maintain high inventory record accuracy.
  • Monitor and review stock usage levels to minimize inventory levels whilst satisfying client needs.
  • Store bulk stock in accordance with relevant Australian Standards.
  • Ensure cleanliness and protection of the stock and storage areas.
  • Issue stock and record stock movements using an inventory management system.
  • Liaise with purchasing/procurement personnel and clients on distribution problems.
  • Supervise the processing of stock and non-stock receipts.
Requirements:

We are searching for someone with knowledge and experience in warehousing and distribution activities for a large organization. You should have knowledge of and compliance with financial and procurement delegations. Additionally, you should be able to use a personal computer and have knowledge of specific Queensland Health software.
