Senior Food Microbiology Research Leader

This is a senior academic position focused on teaching and research in food microbiology and safety. The successful candidate will join a dynamic department and contribute to the development of high-quality curriculum, teaching programs, and research projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach and coordinate large foundational and advanced courses in food microbiology and safety at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Develop and lead high-impact research projects aligned with the university's research priorities in food technology and nutrition.
- Mentor early-career academics, supervise higher degree by research candidates, and manage funded projects.
- PhD in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and deliver large academic programs or portfolios within the food science and microbiology discipline.
- Proven experience in research leadership, securing external funding, and managing complex budgets and reporting requirements.
- Strong understanding of financial, governance, and quality assurance systems in a university setting.
- High-level interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
