Senior Used Car Sales Manager

A talented and ambitious General Manager is required to lead a high-performing used car dealership in Leeds. The ideal candidate will thrive on challenge, lead from the front, and deliver results.
About the Role- Overall performance and day-to-day operations of the dealership.
- Inspire and lead a large team – over 30 sales executives – ensuring customer service excellence, consistent profitability, and operational efficiency.
- Lead, manage and develop the sales team, setting clear objectives and providing consistent feedback.
- Drive business performance across all key metrics, particularly used car sales.
- Oversee deal files, handovers, pipeline management, and stock control.
- Uphold compliance and ensure an exceptional customer experience throughout the dealership.
- Proven success in automotive sales, ideally within a used car dealership or car supermarket.
- Experience leading a large team and delivering outstanding commercial results.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
- A hands-on leader with a clear customer-first mindset.
- Fully electric company car.
- Clear progression pathway.
- Leading dealership group.
The role offers a mix of weekdays and weekends based on a rota, typically 4 to 5 long days per week. Weekend working is essential due to peak business activity.
